Why Front-End?

The field of Front-End development focuses on the visual aspects and user experience of websites and web applications. This area involves design processes, adaptation, and the use of new technologies and trends for optimal user experience, and it is experiencing significant growth. Software development in this field is considered more user-friendly compared to other software areas and is particularly enjoyable as feedback during the development process is immediate; as you design the site, changes are implemented right away in direct response to the code you write.

About the program

A comprehensive program from Google and Reichman Tech School, that trains and reskills those with potential for Front-End development positions, with or without experience. Front-End development focuses on the visual aspect of a website, as well as functionality.

The program offers a comprehensive and engaging pathway for those looking to enter the world of programming through advanced web development. It has been developed for talented individuals who wish to work in software development within the tech industry, and it is suitable for those with no prior experience in the field. Additionally, there is a dedicated track for graduates with degrees in computer science and engineering.

We offer practical and up-to-date training in programing languages, theoretical background and soft skills. We provide our participants with the necessary tools and skills, as well as the opportunity to integrate as developers within the industry. We will dive into the main languages and frameworks popular in today’s world, starting with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as a deep understanding of React, as the leading library, that allows interactive and dynamic interfaces. We will continue with TypeScript and the principles of OOP.

Syllabus

UX/UI: how to get an advantage in a competitive market:

Learning the fundamentals of UX/UI design will give you an advantage in the market, as it will give you tools and knowledge that are sought after in the real world. Front-End Development is closely integrated with interface design.

AI: Learn about it and how to use it

AI is a major component of all training programs at the Tech School. In this program, you will learn about AI and how to use the various tools to optimize our work.

In addition to getting to know Google’s leading AI tools such as GEMINI, in this program, we will delve into Google’s Gemini Code Assist tool which assists in writing code, and Vertex AI, which facilitates the deployment and maintenance of AI models quickly.

With an emphasis on promoting innovation through the use of AI technologies, responsibly and professionally, the program will impart relevant skills and develop the ability to successfully integrate into the job market.

Front-End Track
This part includes an in depths understanding of languages and tools that are used in the Israeli Hi-Tech industry, including HTML, CSS, JS and REACT, TypeScript, a chapter dedicated to Algorithms, and another dedicated to UX/UI hands-on experience and projects that will help you build a portfolio.

Professional English

The program includes “English for Tech” course, where you’ll practice reading, writing, listening, and speaking, with a focus on developing the business communication skills relevant to real-world situations and daily work in the Hi-tech field.
⁠Exemption will only be granted after an assessment of the candidate’s English proficiency.

Who can apply for the program?

We are looking for people who want to work in the hi-tech industry. Through our screening process we will locate people with motivation, commitment, attention to details, technologically oriented, self-learning ability and compatibility to the industry.

We do not require any former knowledge or experience- if you pass the screening process, you can start studying with us!

Graduates with degrees in computer science and engineering can join the program, subject to successfully passing the selection processes and providing a transcript, and may receive exemptions for a number of basic study units.

You may be eligible for a scholarship, please fill the questionnaire, and talk to our staff about applying for one. We offer scholarships due to Socioeconomic reasons, as well as due to some special circumstances caused by the ongoing war.

FAQ

What does the screening process entail?
1. Completing a questionnaire and providing references, such as a CV or/and a LinkedIn profile. If you have a grade sheet from a degree, you can attach it when filling out the questionnaire. If not, we will ask you to send it in later sorting stages.
2. A homework assignment.
3. Tests to assess skills and thinking abilities.
4. Interview with the program’s management.
What kind of certificate do I get?

After completing the program, you will get a certificate signed by Google and Reichman University.

When and where does the program take place?

Thursdays 9:00-17:00 in Matam Haifa

Tuesdays 16:30-20:30 Online

Can I work while studying in this program?

Yes. This program is suitable for people who would like to work while studying, although this program is intensive and includes projects that need to be handed in on time. This program is intended for people who are willing to go the extra mile and invest their time to study.
We do recommend that you plan with your work beforehand. Please note, that in most parts of the program, you will be required to self-study in your free time, on top of the sessions.

How much does the program cost?
The program costs 36,600 ILS (including VAT)

Graduates with degrees who are eligible for an exemption from a study unit will receive a dedicated discount of 12%, totaling 32,200 ILS including VAT.

In addition, if you will be required to join the English course, an additional fee of 5,200 NIS (including VAT) will be added.

As part of the program, we may provide scholarships. Scholarships between 60%-94% will be given to participants who are found to be suitable and eligible for the scholarship, including participants from underrepresented populations in the high-tech industry, who wish to integrate and work in the studied field for the first time.

Furthermore, considering the security situation,

Unique scholarships of 94% will be given to participants and residents of evacuated settlements in the south and the north of the country.
- To ensure high chances of success in the program, eligibility for the scholarship will be examined after the candidates’ success in the professional tests and personal interviews.
- Those interested in the scholarship will be required to apply for the scholarship as well as to issue documents and certificates for themselves and their family members. These documents and certificates will be required at advanced stages of the screening process.
- The scholarship committee examines each case individually. An answer will be given at the end of the screening process.
- Living expenses scholarships for the duration of the training period will be given in certain cases, according to the recommendation of the scholarship committee. The scholarships vary between programs and depend on the socio-economic status of the participant.
- Payment of the full tuition fee or its relative part is due only upon official admission to the program.
- There will be the option to pay in installment, in subject to the terms and conditions
