Chip Design and Verification
Join the chip industry at the heart of the technological revolution in Israel and around the world. The program operates in cooperation with

We live in a rapidly advancing technological world where electronic chips (semiconductors) stand at the core of the digital revolution. An electronic chip is a miniature electrical circuit composed of billions of transistors and semiconductor components that process and store information. These chips are integral to every advanced device, from smartphones and computers to autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, and security systems.
Israel, the “Startup Nation,” is a global leader in semiconductors, driven by pioneering startups and leading corporations creating breakthrough technologies. The chip industry is dynamic and engaging, offering diverse career opportunities and rapid professional advancement. Chip designers define logical behaviors and calculations performed by chips, while verification engineers ensure chips function as intended across various operating conditions.
The course is designed for engineers, technicians, and students during their degree who wish to acquire skills and enter a highly sought-after field in the high-tech industry in Israel and globally.
Join us in a journey to the core of technology and become part of the future.
The course offers a comprehensive track in chip development, starting with fundamentals of digital design (binary algebra, Boolean algebra, combinational and sequential circuits, finite state machines), advanced use of Verilog, simulations, modules, and logic. It extends to advanced verification and validation tools, including object-oriented programming, creating test environments, using SystemVerilog and UVM, register modeling, and functional coverage. The curriculum combines theoretical lectures and practical workshops, including hands-on projects implementing logical design on FPGA hardware.
Upon course completion, graduates can assume roles in logical design, Digital Design, FPGA components, chip design, or verification.
The program, developed by Google and Reichman Tech School, in cooperation with experts from NVIDIA, is tailored to industry needs, providing high-quality training to facilitate graduates’ integration into Israel’s high-tech industry.
Course SyllabusThe course is suitable for engineers, technicians, graduates or students nearing graduation in electrical engineering, electronics, or computer science who wish to gain proficiency in industry-standard languages and processes and integrate into chip development, particularly in Digital Design or Verification roles.
Applicants accepted should have good academic records, high motivation, decision-making and prioritization skills, and proficiency in Hebrew and English. Self-learning capability is required.

Scholarships
As part of Google and Reichman University’s commitment to creating equality and promoting the integration of skilled, diverse human capital into the Israeli high-tech industry, we offer a variety of encouragement scholarships. Scholarships ranging from 60%-94% are available to those who meet the criteria and are found eligible by the scholarship committee.
Encouragement scholarships will be given to participants who are found suitable, among them underrepresented populations in the high-tech industry, including women, individuals from the social and geographic periphery, and/or those facing challenging socio-economic backgrounds, who wish to integrate and work in the tech field or the tech industry for the first time. Additionally, due to the security situation, special scholarships will be given to evacuees and reserve soldiers (subject to eligibility requirements).
Residents of the north and south, who are currently being evacuated from areas defined as evacuated by the Israeli government, will receive a 94% encouragement scholarship if they pass the selection process and meet the criteria.
Reservists who wish to apply for a scholarship will be required to submit Form 3010, an official IDF confirmation of having completed at least 60 days of active reserve duty.
Cost of the English course for those required to take it as an entry requirement for the program / as a requirement to receive the graduation certificate is 5,700₪ (including VAT). If you are eligible for a scholarship for the training program, you will also receive a relative scholarship for the English course.
