This learning unit provides broad knowledge and practical tools for understanding both the potential and responsibilities inherent in the profession, with a focus on the required skills, tools, creativity, and ethics.The lectures are designed to establish both the theoretical and practical foundation for understanding the roles and professional responsibilities of OSINT Analysts.
This module aims to provide technological knowledge about the various components of the internet and the infrastructure that supports it. The focus is on understanding the core concepts and technologies that drive digital communication, with the goal of enabling participants to effectively leverage the internet for open-source intelligence (OSINT) collection.
This module aims to equip the digital investigator with professional skills in using various search engines and conducting effective searches across the internet. Participants will enhance their search techniques and information analysis abilities through hands-on practice with advanced tools and methodologies, enabling them to navigate and extract valuable intelligence more efficiently.
This module introduces tools and methods for extracting information from websites and databases. Participants will develop practical skills for discovering new sources, expanding their investigative toolbox, and applying structured documentation methodologies throughout the research process.
This module aims to provide participants with practical tools for understanding the deep and dark web. Participants will learn how to extract information from various social media platforms using advanced tools and methodologies. The module includes combined hands-on practice for extracting data-driven insights and implementing the methodologies and tools introduced in the course.
This module provides a practical and effective toolkit for conducting digital investigations. It focuses on teaching in-depth investigative methodologies across various topics, combined with hands-on training in technological tools from multiple domains.
In this module, participants will explore the phenomenon of fake news and its impact on the digital space, including the role of virtual agents and AI-generated content. We will develop skills for detecting virality, identifying deceptive content, and understanding new AI-based technologies for generating both textual and visual media. Participants will learn how these tools can be used to analyze raw data and extract meaningful insights. The module also includes practical training in refining AI prompts to improve the quality and accuracy of results across various AI platforms.
In this module, we shift from theoretical knowledge and in-depth practice developed throughout the training, toward practical skills in the field of digital intelligence, with a focus on entering the job market. Participants will gain a toolkit of essential skills for launching their professional journey, including public speaking, presentation delivery, storytelling, self-marketing, and job searching within the OSINT field. The module will conclude with a final project that will serve as the foundation for each participant’s professional portfolio, to be presented to industry experts.
